Oxjam London is a unique live music event inviting Londoners to shake a leg in the name of a good cause. Taking place at a huge number of London venues throughout October, Oxjam features a line up of live music acts, ready to lay it down on the night.
Live music at OxjamHighlight performances at this year's Oxjam include The Stayaways, Sketches and The Sticks - all playing at 93 Feet East on the 2nd. There's also a DJ set by She Bangs The Drums and tickets are only a fiver. So if you fancy a quality night on Brick Lane, pop down and do your bit.
Other Oxjam EventsThere really is a whole host of fun to be had throughout October as Oxjam events come thick and fast. The Bad Robots host a club night at The Enterprise in Camden, ably assisted by Ghostcat. There's some serious skanking being organised at the Purple Turtle with quality punk and ska from Hypo Psycho, Too Late Lucy and The Apostates. Much merriment expected.
Show some support at Oxjam LondonHalf of all profits from Oxjam London will be donated to the Oxfam charity organisation, giving music fans a unique opportunity to party for a good cause. Oxjam gigs are taking place across the country and Londoners are welcome to join in the fun at all the events that have been organised.
Join the party in the London Oxfam shopMusic fans will not want to miss a line up of live acts of genuine quality in the vibrant setting of a converted store in London. The atmosphere promises to be electric during organised nights of eclectic live music and good times, in support of Oxfam. With Fatboy Slim, The Kooks, Jarvis Cocker, Hot Chip and Jamelia all set to play, these gigs look likely to be some of the best gigs to come to London this year.
New for 2007Expect fresh talent and new music on the night, with a selection of innovative artists on the Oxjam bill. Quality venues including The Green Dragon, The Miller, Bloomsbury Lanes and Brixton Jamm will be buzzing with excitement throughout the month at a charged charity music event.
